Questions about your Session

I don't live in Tampa. Do you travel?

We absolutely travel! We love to go places, whether it be here in Florida, to a different state or even to a different country. We would be happy to go anywhere you want to go.

What important information should I have before I contact you?

Your photography budget is the most important thing you need to decide. Our clients are people who truly appreciate photography and can appreciate the product we are giving them. We may charge a bit more in some areas then other photographers, but we believe that the quality of our product is worth it.

Do you offer images on a flash drive?

We are print artists, which means that our work is not complete until it has been printed. We will ensure that your images are printed on high quality paper, by a professional lab and that they look the way they should look. We know that you chose us because you want beautiful portraits and albums that you will have forever and will become family heirlooms.
We do offer the option for you to get your images in an online gallery. This gallery can be shared with your family & friends and the images can be downloaded to be shared on social media. These images are optimized for social media sites and are not of a printable size.

What if the weather is not ideal for our portrait session?

Just because it is not sunny doesn’t mean that it isn’t ideal. Truthfully, we love overcast days! We can always work with the weather and if it comes down to it we can reschedule for another date. After all, maybe you can throw on some rain boots or a sweater and go with the flow. It could change the whole concept of your session, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

What types of clothing should we wear for our session?

We always advise people to go with solid colors. If you are doing a family or group session wear colors that are in the same hue or complimentary to what others are wearing.  Don’t wear large or wild patterns that can distract from everyone else. White or light colors can make people look bigger while dark colors can be slimming. Try to stay away from outfits that will date your portraits (think hammer pants, shoulder pads and velour track suits)

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept payment in the forms of PayPal, cash, money order, cashiers checks and credit/debit cards. We do not accept personal checks.

Questions about PHOTOGRAPHY

I have a charity event coming up, can you help me?

We most likely can! We donate lots of photography time to events. We also are happy to donate photography to silent auctions if it helps raise money for charities, non-profits, schools and other amazing organizations.

What do you wish customers knew about you or photography in general?

We wish that customers understood the work that goes on behind the scenes. For us, your portrait session or wedding does not end the day of. We work on your session before, during and after the actual portraits are taken. Not only do we spend a great deal of time on your portraits, we also spend a great deal of time and money on education & equipment to make sure that you are getting beautiful portraits that will stand the test of time.

What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a photographer?

We advise everyone to do research! Don’t just pick the lowest priced photographer, just because it is the lowest price. Look around  and find a photographer that matches your style and personality. You may pay a little more in the end, but it will show in your images and in the products you receive.

How do you keep up with the trends and do you ever learn new things?

We are both members of Professional Photographers of America. We attend Imaging USA, which is a huge yearly photography convention. We attend workshops and webinars and we are constantly reading articles and magazines and watching webinars to stay up on the latest photography trends. We also attend multiple conventions and classes each year to make sure we are keeping our education up to speed. Jess and Tony are currently Certified Professional Photographers through PPA. We never stop learning!
